Drug Calculations Description
Drug Units mcg, mg, g, units, mU mcg for Drug A, B,
C or D. For drugs
listed in the table in
the Adult
Medication
Choices
subsection, see the
“DEFAULT UNITS”
column.
Select to change drug
units.
This menu item is only
selectable if Drug A, B, C
or D is chosen.
Otherwise, the default
unit for the specified drug
is used. If Drug Units are
changed for Drug A, B,
C or D, Drug Amount,
Solution Volume, Dose/
min, Dose/hr, Dose/kg/
min and Dose/kg/hr will
be reset to blank fields
and Infusion Rate and
Concentration will be
invalidated.
