6.5 Rotary servo motors with special shafts
There are four shaft shape types for the rotary servo motor: keyed shaft (with double round-ended key), keyed shaft (without
key), D-cut shaft, and L-cut shaft.
To prevent an accident such as motor shaft fracture, do not use a servo motor with a D-cut shaft, L-cut shaft, or keyed shaft for
frequent start/stop applications.
