4. Water Separator
• A water separator is installed between
the fuel tank and the feed pump. It is
designed to remove impurities from
fuel and also separates water from fu-
el.
• Water separated from fuel is collected
at the bottom of the water separator
and is drained when the float reaches
the level line.
• To drain water collected, loosen the
drain cock. This allows the water to be
discharged through the drain hole.
