Transistor outputs in the FX3UC Series main unit and FX2N/FX2NC Series I/O extension blocks are classified
into sink output type or source output type.
1. Differences in circuit
Sink output [-common]
Output to make load current flow into the output (Y) terminal is
called sink output.
Source output [+common]
Output to make load current flow out of the output (Y) terminal is
called source output.
