(a) Time average
Performs A/D conversion for a set time, averages the total without the maximum and minimum values, and
stores the average value to the buffer memory.
The processing count within the setting time varies depending on the number of channels used (number of
channels for which A/D conversion is enabled).
The processing count for the following settings is calculated below:
The valid lower limit setting value for the time average is calculated by "(minimum processing count of 4) × (conversion
speed) × (number of channels used)".
If a maximum of 4 channels are used (conversion speed: low speed):
4 × 1.0 × 4 = 16 ms
If the processing count becomes less than 4 due to the setting time, an error occurs (error code: 20), and a digital output
value comes out to 0 (zero).
(b) Count average
Performs A/D conversion a set number of times, averages the total without the maximum and minimum values,
and stores the average value to the buffer memory.
The time it takes for the count average value to be stored to the buffer memory varies depending on the
number of channels used (number of channels for which A/D conversion is enabled).
The processing time for the following settings is calculated below:
20 × (4 × 0.08) = 6.4 (ms) → An average value is output every 6.4 ms.
