9.1.6.2 Brief instruction on reading out service data
This quick guide should help you to read out the service data using the MSET DGA Service Tool.
Please consult the detailed description, should you require more detailed information.
Extract the MSET DGA Service Tool in the desired directory (zip file)
Connect the MSENSE
®
DGA 9
Start the MSET DGA Service Tool
Select interface (serial / network)
Enter the COM port and baud rate for the serial interface
Enter the IP address and port number for the network interface
Press the device key
Cancel bootloader, firmware and parameter update and skip
Perform service data read out only
Enter the last DGA analysis data or mark as unknown.
Select storage location
Assign file name or accept automatic naming
Start service data read out (Service Data Read)
Wait for completion
9.1.6.3 On-site fault analysis
In order to be able to acknowledge a fault, the device’s protective hood must be removed. A check
should be made as to whether the device's hood is contaminated with oil. Also, the device should be
subjected to a visual inspection to make sure it is intact.
If damage to the device is detected, the corresponding parts must be repaired or replaced.
Please ensure that the slide / ball valve is fully open and that the device is in the “Device active” state.
