4.4.5 Automatic activation following the interruption of the supply voltage
If a device has already been activated, the automatic activation will be started after the supply voltage
is interrupted. You will hear a short beep sound and, after a brief moment, the screen will show the
special menu item “Extraction chamber (Pollution warning! - Indication of pollution!)”.
The waiting time until automatic activation is then started. This is shown with a second-by-second
countdown timer. Furthermore, short beeps are audible (the first 25 seconds is a short beep tone every
5 seconds and a short beep tone is then heard every second for the last 5 seconds).
There is the option to cancel the automatic activation with the key within 30 seconds and to
manually activate the device at a later point in time (4.4.3).
Once the waiting time has elapsed, the automatic activation will start and the LCD will show
the main menu.
