6.10.3 Alarm limits and alarm sources
With this MSENSE® DGA 9 you have the possibility to configure 16 different alarms. The alarms can
be applied to internal or external measurements and can be issued in different ways. One of these is
the issuance to the digital outputs. The MSENSE® DGA 9 contains 13 digital alarm outputs. The first
10 (relay terminal X401:1 ... 8, relay terminal X402:1 ... 8, and relay terminal X403:1 ... 4) are
relay outputs. When the status is “On” the contact is closed, when the status is “Off” the contact is open
(with output # 1 the function can be inverted by means of a coding bridge on the measuring and con-
troller card (see 5.3.1).
Remark: The system fault can be individually set to one of the outputs (standard: relay output 1)
(6.10.4.2). This may not be additionally occupied by one of the 16 alarms!
