DOS Flash Utility
The DOS flash utility is intended for use from a DOS Boot only. It is mainly provided for remote flash
capabilities by providing a way to create a DOS Boot Image that will automatically load and flash
update the printer firmware without user intervention. This utility supports RS232 interface only.
If you type AFLASH.EXE without any parameters you will get the following screen that describes the
parameter usage:

Usage: AFLASH.EXE <model> <type> <port> <baud rate> <filename> <check model>

<model> : K590, 7402-K592, 7167, 7167-X035, 7167-X115, 7167-50X1/60X1,
7168, 7197, 7197-5X01/6X01, 7198, 7198-1X41/2X41,
7342-F306, 7346-F306, 734X-F307/7125, 734X-F308, 734X-F309
Note: For the 7125 printer use the 734X-F307 selection

-i : Download ipl firmware program
-b : Download boot firmware program (for 7168 models only)
