Data Format Editor Introduction 
YoumayusetheDataFormatEditortochangethescanner’soutput.
Forexample,youcanusetheDataFormatEditortoinsertcharactersat
certainpointsinbarcodedataasitisscanned.Theselectionsinthe
followingpagesareusedonlyifyouwishtoaltertheoutput.
Default
DataFormatsetting=None.
Normally,whenyouscanabarcode,itgetsoutputtedautomatically;
howeverwhenyoudoaformat,youmustusea“send”command(see
SendCommandsinChapter5)withintheformatprogramtooutput
data.
Multipleformatsmaybeprogrammedintothescanner.
Theyare
stackedintheorderinwhichtheyareentered.However,thefollowing
listpresentstheorderinwhichformatsareapplied:
1.  SpecificTermID,ActualCodeID,ActualLength
2.  SpecificTermID,ActualCodeID,UniversalLength
3.  SpecificTermID,UniversalCodeID,ActualLength
