Default is Normal. The Normal option sets the port to operate
in the AT-compatible mode. Selecting Extended sets the port
to operate in the bi-directional PS/2-compatible mode.
Configure With BIOS Defaults
This menu option opens a screen that loads the BIOS setup default values from the ROM
table. Type y to load the values or n to not load the values, then press Enter.
Configure With Power-On Defaults
Selecting this menu option opens a screen that loads the power-on default values from the
ROM table. Type y if to load the values or n to not load the values, then press Enter.
Change Password
This menu option opens a screen that sets, change or delete a password. Once a password is
set, the Setup program cannot be entered without entering the password.
To set a password, do the following:
1. Highlight the “Change Password” selection on the Main Menu.
2. Press Enter. An “Enter NEW Password” message appears on the screen.
3. Type in the password using up to six ASCII characters.
4. Press Enter. Reenter the password to confirm it. A “Password Now Enabled”
message appears on the screen.
5. Press Enter. Setup returns to the Main Menu. The password is now in effect.
