4. Remove the two screws holding each metal cover plate to the device cage.
Remove the plates.

Minitower 5 1/4-Inch Device Cage Removal
Remove the 5 1/4-inch device cage as follows.
1. Remove the top cover, front panel as previously described.
NOTE: When installing a 3 1/2-inch hard disk
drive into a 5 1/4-inch slot, a 5 1/4-inch hard disk
bracket must first be attached to the 3 1/2-inch
hard disk drives.
