Intrusion Detection
Intrusion Detection can be used to detect people entering or leaving a virtual area in the camera
eld of view�
Alerted zone
The applicable scenarios of this feature can be:
• Detects when a person enters a bank vault or school after the office hours�
• Detects when a person leaves an emergency exit or fire escape or any place that is normally
forbidden from access�
Line Crossing Detection
The Line Crossing detection detects one or multiple persons crossing a virtual trip-wire� The trafc
direction can be assigned on screen for persons passing the line in one specic direction or in
both directions�

The applicable scenarios of this feature can be:
• Detects someone who enters a drive way, entrance, or exit through the virtual line�
• Detects and triggers an alarm in a predetermined direction�
• The detection line can be used as a fence boundary to know if someone has crossed the
articulated line around a perimeter�
