3.24.2.7 Clear Commands
interface
Syntax interface [ip-int-name] [statistics]
Context clear>router>mpls
Description This command resets or clears statistics for MPLS interfaces.
Parameters ip-int-name — specifies an existing IP interface. If the string contains special characters
(#, $, spaces, etc.), the entire string must be enclosed within double quotes.
statistics — clears only statistics
lsp
Syntax lsp [lsp-name]
Context clear>router>mpls
Description This command resets and restarts an LSP.
Parameters lsp-name — specifies the name of the LSP to clear
lsp-egress-stats
Syntax lsp-egress-stats [lsp-name]
Context clear>router>mpls
Description This command clears RSVP LSP egress statistics.
Parameters lsp-name — specifies the name of the LSP to clear
Note: When RSVP LSP statistics are cleared, the current aggregate statistics count is
recorded as a baseline and is used to provide a relative count each time the statistics are
viewed with the show command. Because this baseline number is not reconciled between
the active and inactive CSMs, after a CSM activity switch the statistics on the newly active
CSM will show the aggregate count as though no clear command has been executed.
