Setting up the disinfectant solution
Before handling the disinfectant solution, read the
precautions carefully and use as instructed. It is especially
important to know what to do if the disinfectant solution
comes in contact with your skin.
Always use disinfectant that has been validated by Olympus.
High-level disinfectants that are not validated by Olympus for
use in the OER-Pro may be unsafe and ineffective due to
improper dilution, incorrect contact time and temperature,
excessive foaming, inadequate rinsing, and therefore may
compromise patient safety. Use of a high-level disinfectant
that has not been validated by Olympus may also damage
internal OER-Pro components (e.g., seals, valves, etc.) and
the endoscopes being reprocessed.
