1.3.3 Inspection during workStopCleaning
Carefully remove any grass debris that has accumulated around the exhaust pipe, which
becomes hot. It may cause engine seizure or fire such as cooling air suction port or grass
clogging near the cylinder. Also, clean the inside of the air cleaner and the grass debris
accumulated on the HST fan cover at the same time.
1) When inspecting during work, be sure to stop the engine, wait for each part to cool
down, and then wear protective equipment such as gloves and protective goggles.
2) Be sure to stop the engine when moving away from the machine. Also, make sure to
stop on a stable flat ground.
3) When stopping the engine, do the following.
Apply the brake. Remove the key. Close the fuel cock.
4) Abnormal noise, odor, and heat generation during operation may cause a fire, so stop
the engine immediately and inspect and repair it.
5) If you collide with a foreign object during work, stop the work immediately and stop the
engine. Be sure to check for knives, knife stays, Blades and covers that are missing or
bent, and correct or replace them if necessary.
6) If you feel any abnormality during other work, be sure to stop the engine before doing
the inspection.
1.4 Precautions for loading and unloading and transportation
When transporting this machine, be sure to stop the engine and put the fuel cock in the
"closed" state. Fuel leaks can ignite spilled fuel. Also, do not tilt the unit more than
necessary. Fuel may leak
1) Use a suitable vehicle for transportation according to the product specifications.
2) Choose the place of flat and safe place for loading the machine, stop the engine, pull the
side brake, and chock the wheels so that it will not start moving when loading.
3) Adjust the height so that the knife / Blade does not contact with the slope. and doing
following operations.
Set the Blade clutch to the "off" position. Set the diff-Lock to the "on" position.
