The grass debris inside the knife cover can be washed off relatively easily by cleaning it with
water pressurized with a hose etc. before it dries.
Storage in cold regions
1) In winter, be sure to remove mud and foreign matter from the machine after use and park
it on a flat, concrete or hard, dry road surface. The deposit may freeze and cause a
malfunction.
2) On flat terrain, do not "lock" the parking brake pedals and use "chock" to prevent the
brake shoes from sticking.
3) If it freezes and becomes inoperable, do not try to force it to move, but melt the frozen
part with hot water or wait until the freeze melts.
5.5.2 Precautions for next use
1) Use fresh fuel.
2) Perform an inspection before work.
3) Make sure that each operating lever works properly. (Every time at the start of work)
4) Check that the bolts and nuts of each part are not loosened and fall off.
5) Move the unit a little and check for abnormal noise and abnormal heat generation.
6) Please avoid unreasonable work for the first 2 to 3 hours so that each part will be fully
familiarized.
