The hard lock nut is divided into two parts, and the upper part of the lower nut has a protrusion,
which is slightly thinner than the upper part. There is a recess on the bottom of the nut on the
top, and there is a "HARD-LOCK" stamp on the top.
Reference；
1) The tightening torque of the hard lock nut is "800kgf ・ cm" (78.4N ・ m). As a guide,
use a 30 cm long box wrench (size 22) and tighten with a force of approximately 32
kgf or more.
2) A torque wrench is required to check the tightening torque. It is recommended to confirm
(acquire) in advance how much tightening force the above torque is at the store etc.
3) If you use it in a place containing dry soil or sand, the knife will wear quickly, so check it
frequently.
4) We recommend that you have a spare knife and a set of parts necessary for installation in
advance.
5) Be careful not to lose the knife collar when replacing the knife。
6) If the gauge (dent) on the back of the knife mounting bolt is worn, replace it.
5.5 How to store for a long time
5.5.1 Preparation for long-term storage
① When the machine will not used for 30 days or more,
the fuel in the fuel tank is drained from the fuel filler port
to the container with a pump . then Start the engine with
the remaining fuel and run the engine until it stops.
② Set the engine switch key to "OFF" and the fuel cock to
"Close".
③ Clean the outer surface of the engine and this machine.
(Reinstall the removed parts.)
④ Please change the engine oil.
