① Rubber products such as fuel hoses deteriorate even if
they are not used.
② Replace it with a new one every 3 years with the
tightening band or if it is damaged.
③ Always be careful that the hoses and tightening bands
are not loose or damaged.
④ When replacing, be careful not to let dust or dirt get inside
the hose.
5.2.4 Checking the fuel filter
The fuel filter cannot be disassembled or cleaned, so replace it every season or as soon as
necessary. Pay attention to the insertion direction when replacing.
5.2.5 How to clean the engine cooling system
1) Remove each part after the engine has cooled, and after cleaning, do not start the engine
until all parts are installed.
2) If you continue to work with grass dust accumulated on the engine cooling system, it will
not only cause overheating, but also cause a fire due to the rise in engine temperature.
3) Keep your hands away from the rotating screen. There is a risk of injury.
On models equipped with the Briggs engine, the screen guard rotates with the engine.
4) Remove foreign matter such as mud and grass that has accumulated on the screen guard
before each use.
