1. Before use

6) Be sure to check the effectiveness of the parking brake every time. Misalignment of the
brakes can lead to serious accidents. Check with one or more of the following.
① At the traveling clutch lever "OFF" position (Sub-change shift lever neutral "N"
position), the parking brake is applied and it does not move even if two adults push it.
② The tires lock when you drive and apply a sudden brake.
③ Apply the parking brake on the slope on the truck bed and do not move.
7) Carefully remove the air intake for cooling air, grass clogging near the cylinder, and
especially grass debris accumulated around the exhaust pipe, which becomes hot. It
may cause engine seizure or fire. Also, clean not only the outside but also the inside
diligently. Also, clean the inside of the air cleaner and the grass debris accumulated on
the HST fan cover (applicable product) at the same time.
1.2.3 No fire ・ Fuel refueling
1) No fire is allowed around the machine, not only during work and refueling. There
is a risk of ignition and burns. In addition, never use open flames such as cigarettes,
bonfires, etc. near the machine.
2) Refuel after the engine is stopped and the temperature of the muffler has dropped
sufficiently.
3) For refueling, if there is a Fuel level upper limit mark, make it below the mark. If you
put too much, pull it out until it is below the mark. Also, be sure to wipe off any spilled
fuel.
4) Do not refueling when your body is charged with static electricity. Vaporized gasoline may
catch fire, resulting in burns or fire.
1.3 Working
1.3.1 Precautions during work
1) For your safety, drive with a margin and do not start, stop or turn suddenly.
2) Do not work in an unreasonable posture, and take a rest in about 1 to 2 hours according
to your physical condition.
3) To prevent people (especially children) and pets from entering the work area (within a
radius of 15 m), put up a sign indicating that the mowing work is in progress, a guard
rope, and a net to prevent scattering, and do not bring it closer to within a radius of 15
m. Immediately stop work and stop the engine when a person or child approaches.
