When changing the HST oil, wait until the HST tank and HST main unit have cooled
sufficiently before starting work.
Immediately after the engine is stopped, the temperature is high and there is a risk of burns.
HST oil, also called hydraulic fluid, plays an important role in converting engine rotation
into drive.
It also has other functions such as lubrication, rust prevention, and cooling, but if it is not
properly managed, it may cause malfunctions such as running system troubles. Be sure to
use the specified special oil for replacement and replenishment.
① Prepare a suitable container to receive the oil, loosen
the HST tank cap, and then remove the oil plug
(hexagonal hole diameter 3/8 inch) on the underside
of the HST.
② After draining the oil, firmly tighten the oil plug as
before and remove the HST tank cap.
③ The total amount of oil is about 1.8L.
④ After lubricating HST oil, tighten the HST tank cap
firmly.
1) Abrasion resistant hydraulic fluid equivalent to VG46 is lubricated at the time of product
shipment.
2) When changing the HST oil, please contact the store where you purchased the product.
Special tools and maintenance techniques are required for replacement.
