Sonotrode protection function
This touch field activates the Sonotrode protection function (Sonotrode Guard).
When the protection function is activated, the control determines whether there is material
between the Sono-trode and anvil wheel based on the position of the anvil wheel and the
measured welding force (distance). If not, the ultrasonic generator is not switched on or the
activated ultrasonic generator is switched off. The function is advanced each time the key is
pressed:
Function switched off – Ultrasonic generator is switched on when the welding is started or
continues to run dur-ing the welding process
Function activated – The ultrasonic generator is switched on or off depending on the distance
of the anvil wheel to the Sonotrode
Function activated – The ultrasonic generator is switched on or off depending on the distance
of the anvil wheel to the Sonotrode
An acoustic signal (BEEP) sounds at each change
LED lighting (top/bottom, on/off)
This touch field can be used to switch the LED lighting (above) and the optional LED lighting
(below) on and off. The function is advanced each time the key is pressed:
Lighting off Lighting above on Lighting below on Lighting above and below on
Feed rollers and other drives, forward / reverse
This function can be used to test the drive motors of the various units.
The activated motor is indicated by the green LED.
Motor selection:
Bottom roller (Sonotrode)
Top roller (anvil wheel)
