OIL PAN INSTALLATION
NOTICE
The oil pan must be installed first, before the front
cover.
1. Make sure that the oil pan and mounting surface on
the lower crankcase are free of all oil and debris.
2. Clean with isopropyl alcohol prior to applying sealant.
Apply sealant in approximately 3mm wide by 2mm
high bead around the perimeter of the oil pan as
shown.
3. Install the oil pan.
4. Install the oil pan fasteners and torque to specification
in sequence.
