7. Remove two bolts

to gain access to brake pads.
8. Push caliper mounting bracket inward and slip outer
brake pad past the edge to remove.
9. Remove the inner brake pad.
10.To remove the brake caliper: place a catch pan
under the brake caliper and remove the banjo bolt
retaining the brake line to the caliper.
REAR CALIPER DISASSEMBLY /
INSPECTION
1. Remove brake pad adjustment set screw

2. Push upper pad retainer pin inward and slip brake
pads

past the edge and remove from the caliper.
3. Remove mount bracket

and dust boots

4. Using piston pliers, remove the piston
e
from the
caliper body

. Remove the square O-rings
y

&
a
from the caliper body
t
.
5. Clean the caliper body, piston, and retaining bracket
h
with brake cleaner or alcohol.
NOTICE
Be sure to clean caliper body seal grooves.
