1) Power Requirements
The BriteSpot® Plus conversion
module utilizes a modular power card.
See Appendix C for specific power
requirements. When selecting a power
supply, ensure that it is capable of
providing enough power for all of the units
that it will be supplying. Each unit will draw
10 Watts under maximum load.
An external switch or circuit breaker must
be placed in the power circuit for the
BriteSpot Plus. This device must be located
no more than 3m (9ft) from the BriteSpot
Plus and clearly labeled. It must interrupter
both the line (L) and Neutral (N) conductors.
The maximum current rating for this device
should not exceed 15A.
2) Remove Terminal Connectors
Begin by removing the terminal connector
from the BriteSpot Plus conversion module.
This can be done by hand or by prying
a screwdriver between it and its mating
connector. Make sure to loosen the
connector flange securing screws.

CAUTION
Ensure the power is turned OFF to prevent
damage to the equipment prior to connecting
the power of circuitry.
Note: See Appendix C for connector details
of all power cards.
3) Connect Power Wiring
Follow the detailed wiring instructions
found in Appendix C for the specific power
card.
To ensure safety and correct operation,
the GND terminal must be connected to a
switchgear chassis ground using a 14 AWG
wire of not more than 2m (6ft) length.
