Load Off is initiated by a red button on the Monitor Panel, covered
by a clear plastic shield. In an emergency, you can press this button to
instantaneousiy
open the input breaker and interrupt UPS output. The UPS is cut off Tom
utility power, and your critical load is de-energized. All power to the critical load is lost.
The UPS (including Bypass) remains locked oft until you reset the Load
Ofl
button.

AU POWER TO THE
CRITICAL
LOAD IS LOST WHEN YOU PRESS THIS
BUTTON. YOU SHOULD USE THIS FEATURE ONLY IN AN EMERGENCY
OR WHEN YOU WANT TO DE-ENERGIZE THE CRITICAL LOAD.

restart
the UPS after pressing me Load Off button. follow the procedure described in

NOTE: The Remote Emergency Load Off option functions the same way as
the Load Off
button

To use the Load Off button:
1.

Off button.

hear them opening). The CBl switch
trips.

out.
The UPS system shuts down.
Resetting the Load Off Button
i CAUTION:

Do not attempt to restart the system after Load
Off
until
the
cauw
of
the emergency has been ldentlfled and cleared.
The bad

button is a small
white
recessed button on the operator panel. The
Reset button pops out and the
Cei
switch tips when the
Load
Off button is
activated.

1.
Press
the Load
Off
Reaat button until it clicks in and remains
recessed.
2.
Move the
CBl
witch from the center (tripped) position to Off. The switch
should be
dlcult
to move from the tripped position.
3.
Move the
CBl
switch to ON.
The Load
Ofl

now reset. To
restart
the
UPS system, follow the pmcedurs in
‘Stopping and Starting the UPS on page 15.
