Installation Checklist
0 All packing materials and restraints have been removed from each cabinet.
a Each cabinet in the UPS system is placed in its installed location.
a All cabinets (except stand-alone cabinets) are bolted together.
a A ground bond is installed between all cabinets that are bolted together.
0 All switch boards, conduits, and cables are properly routed to the UPS and auxiliary
cabinets.
a Power cables are terminated on bypass terminals (E6- E6 on 460V systems, El 3- El 5
on all other systems).
a Power cables are terminated on the CBl input breaker (El -E3 on 460V systems,
E13-El5 on all other systems).
0 A ground conductor is properly installed.
0 H N is used, no other N-G bonds exist downstream from the UPS.
Q Battery cables and harness are terminated on the K2 battery contactor E4 and E5.
a Internal battery cabinet connections have been completed (bus bars, plugs, etc.)
0 Air conditioning equipment is installed and operating correctly.
Q The area around the instatfed UPS system is clean and dust free. (It is recommended
that:the UPS be installed on a sealed concrete pad on a seated concrete floor.)
Q Adequate workspace exists around the UPS and other cabinets.
0 Adequate lighting is provided around all UPS equipment
0 A 12OV service o&t is located within 26 feet of the UPS equipment.
0 Each Remote Monitor Panel (RMP) is mounted in its installed location. (OPTIONAL)
u The contmt wiring for each RMP is terminated inside the UPS cabinet. (OPTIONAL)
0 The Remote Emergency Power Off (REPO) device is mounted in its installed location
and its wiring terminated inside the UPS cabinet. (OPTIONAL)
u Summary alarms and/or building atanns are wired approprtatefy. (OPTIONAL)
0 A Relay interface Module (RIM) is mounted in its installed location and its wirtng is
terminated inside the UPS cabinet. (OPTIONAL)
0 A Remote Battery Disconnect control is mounted in its installed location and its wiring
is terminated inside the UPS and Battery Cabinet. (OPTtONAL)
