The operational mode of the port. Each communications port operates in one of these

Calibration
Used only by service personnel.
Alarm Config. Allows you to set up building alarms.

Computer Allows you to use Binary Computer Mode (BCM).

Remote Monitor Sends all system event information to a remote
monitor panel (RMP). Available for Port 1 only.
Port 1 and Port 2 cannot be placed in the same mode simultaneously; they must
always be operating in different modes. The modes are described in the following
chapter.
