16 REM for remote control ON
ADR for device mode as Talker or Listener

14 to 16 Channel number display when "Channel" has been chosen in
menu "Device, Display". Is active only when the
measuring points scanner is activated.

14 to 16 Mathematical display when "Math" has been chosen in menu
"Device, Display". Is active only when mathematical functions
are . selected.
or
14 to 16 Seconds counter when "Sec-Counter" has been chosen in menu
"Device, Display". The seconds counter is active only when the
measuring time is 4 seconds or longer.
Further information on the display is contained in the chapter headed "Quick Start".
4.3 Measuring Inputs
For connecting the measuring signals, the 5017 is equipped on the front panel and
optionally on the rear panel with low thermoelectric EMF safety sockets for banana
plugs.
With the 5017SC with built-in measuring points scanner, switchover to the scanner
inputs is possible internally in the instrument.
Read chapter ‘Getting Started’ headed "Connection of Measurement Leads" for the
instructions for switching over to the inputs on the rear of the instrument.
