Only carry out the electrical installation once the mechanical instal‐
lation has been completed.

2.3 Intended use
INFORMATION: Intended use
n The device is designed to measure and regulate liquid media. The labelling of the measured variables
is indicated in the controller display and is absolutely binding.
n The protection provided by the device can be impaired if this device is used in a manner not specified
in the operating instructions.
n Only use the device in accordance with the technical details and specifications provided in these oper‐
ating instructions and in the operating instructions for the individual components (such as sensors, fit‐
tings, calibration devices, metering pumps etc.).
n All other uses or modifications are prohibited.
INFORMATION: Time constant > 30 seconds
n The controller can be used in processes, which have a time
constant of > 30 seconds.
INFORMATION: Interference resistance
n The device complies with the interference resistance provisions
in accordance with EN 61326-1 and is intended for use in
industrial electromagnetic environments and in residential
areas.
WARNING!
Disturbance signal emissions Class A or B / Pro‐
tection of radio reception
The device complies with the disturbance signal
emissions test requirements for residential areas
as a Class B (Residential area), Group 1 device.
With devices with communication interface
B = Profibus,
E = LAN,
G = Profinet,
the device only complies with the limit values for a
Class A device (other areas apart from residential),
Group 1.
This device is then not intended to be used in resi‐
dential areas and cannot guarantee appropriate
protection of radio reception in these environ‐
ments.
