SEATING SECTION
In order to eliminate the re-home switch (previously
found on the Smart Seat), a separate Counter Reset
Switch (CRS) is installed that allows the system to “re-
home” during normal operation. This switch is located
near the bottom of the shear actuator (Fig 3.130).
Complete the following steps to remove/replace or
adjust the Shear CRS.
The Shear CRS may be adjusted by sliding the 1.
switch bracket side to side.
In order for the CRS to work correctly, the roller 2.
switch must contact the button head screw on the
shear actuator mount.
The CRS can be adjusted by loosening the two 3.
screws behind the switch bracket with a 9/64” hex
wrench.
To remove the bracket, remove the two screws 4.
that were used for adjustment.
Follow the wires up to their mating connectors and 5.
disconnect them.
Reverse the procedure to install the new Shear 6.
CRS. The part number is 103952 (Fig 3.131).
