SEATING SECTION
The Recline Actuator will not run, or runs erratically
Complete the following procedures to test the Recline
Actuator. Use the HHP to re-home the chair prior to
completing any tests.
To test the current drain and operation of the en-1.
coder switches of the Recline actuator, complete
the Fault Isolation Procedures Using Quickie iQ or
HHP located in this manual. Replace the Recline
actuator if the procedure fails. To continue testing,
complete the following procedures.
Locate the QMAC mounted on the back of the 2.
wheelchair (Fig 3.101).
Disconnect the 6-pin female connector (A) leading 3.
to the Recline port of the QMAC (fi g 3.102).
Check the armature resistance through the pins 4.
indicated in the photo (Fig 3.103). Nominal resis-
tance is 2 to 4 ohms.
