SEATING SECTION
In order to remove either the recline or the shear actua-
tor, the gas strut must be removed. In addition, the QR-
MAC mount must be removed. Complete the following
procedures to remove and replace the recline actuator.
Remove the rear shroud by using a fl at head 1.
screw driver to lift the small head of the fasteners
(Fig 3.15).
Remove the four fasteners (F) that attach the 2.
shroud to the wheelchair, two on the top and one
on each side of the shroud.
Use a 9/64” Hex wrench to remove the socket 3.
head cap screw that attaches the QR-MAC mount
to the recline structure (Fig 3.16).
Use the same wrench to loosen (Do Not Remove 4.
the screws) the bottom two-socket head cap
screws (Fig 3.17).
