When you have the alternative community key, click the Forgot
Community button and enter the Alternative Community
(
Figure
5-20
). Then reconfigure the read-write community string.

Muting the alignment tone
The ODU alignment tone becomes audible as soon as power is
supplied, and continues until the ODUs are aligned and the link
established.
It is possible to mute the tone until the alignment procedure is to be
performed.
Æ To mute the alignment tone:
1. Click on Configuration in the Menu bar and select the relevant
site.
2. The Configuration dialog box opens.
3. In the Configuration dialog box, click the Buzzer button. The button
toggles between on and off.
The tone stops.
Æ To restore the alignment tone:
1. Click Configuration in the Menu bar and select the relevant site.
The Configuration dialog box opens.
2. In the Configuration dialog box, click the Buzzer button. The button
toggles between on and off. The tone starts.
