3. Check the software version of the steering part-
ner (steering valve) and confirm compatibility
with the steering guidance controller (SGC) soft-
ware.

Disengage switch
is in the off pos-
ition.
1. Check the disengage switch status in the uni-
versal terminal (UT). Status in the UTshould only
be active (red status indicator) when then steer-
ing wheel is moving.
2. If the disengage switch status is red (activity
detected) while the steering wheel is stationary,
increase the disengage threshold. Review the
"Steering Disengage Settings" on page91 for
assistance.
Note: For best results, set the disengage value
to the minimum value necessary to disengage
auto-steering.
3. Check the disengage switch cabling and con-
nections.
