Table 15: ACU Status messages and their interpretation
The ACU and antenna are in passive state (displayed during
starting-up process).
The antenna performs initial adjustments.
Initial search for satellite.
Antenna stopped on a signal, the satellite is being verified.
The correct satellite is found, the antenna is tracking the signal.
RF signal from the satellite is lost (probably due to an obstacle).
The RF signal is lost for a longer time; the antenna is doing local
searching.
No satellite is found (as a result of acquisition); the antenna
enters sleeping mode to preserve energy.
The ACU is in stopped state.
No communication with the modem; the ACU is waiting until the
communication is established.
The modem is disconnected during ACU operation.
The transmission is muted because the antenna is entered
geographic area where the transmission is prohibited.
The transmission is disabled because of internal reason (signal
blockage, too big pointing error, etc.).
The selected satellite is invalid (could be shown if the current
satellite is deleted from the database).
No satellites are entered in the database.
The ACU is in manual mode listening for both ACU and antenna
commands.
The ACU is in bypass mode – all commands are retranslated to the
antenna (only the antenna commands are supported in this
mode).
Antenna communication error (the antenna is probably not
connected).
Overload of the azimuth motor in the antenna.
Overload of the elevation motor in the antenna.
The antenna power voltage is too low.
