Line Type Automatic Judgement
Press [Execute].
Setting this SP classifies the telephone line where embedded RCG-M is connected as
either dial-up (pulse dial) or push (DTMF tone) type, so embedded RCG-M can
automatically distinguish the number that connects to the outside line.
• The current progress, success, or failure of this execution can be displayed with
SP5816-152.
•
If the execution succeeded, SP5816-153 will display the result for confirmation and
SP5816-154 will display the telephone number for the connection to the outside
line.

Displays a number to show the result of the execution of SP5816 151. Here is a list of
what the numbers mean.
0: Success
1: In progress (no result yet). Please wait.
2: Line abnormal
3: Cannot detect dial tone automatically
4: Line is disconnected
5: Insufficient electrical power supply
6: Line classification not supported
7: Error because fax transmission in progress – ioctl() occurred.
8: Other error occurred
9: Line classification still in progress. Please wait.
