6.8 PAPER DELIVERY
6.8.1 OVERVIEW
Procedure
The exit pawl [A] and the air knife [B] separate the paper from the drum.
The paper is fed to the exit table [C] by the paper delivery unit [D].
The paper exit sensor [E] is used for jam detection. ( 6.10.6)
6.8.2 PAPER DELIVERY UNIT DRIVE MECHANISM
Mechanism
Paper delivery motor [A]
Belt [B]
Shaft [C]
Rotates the transport belts [D].
NOTE: 1) The vacuum fan
motor inside the unit
holds the paper
against the belts [D]
to deliver the paper
to the exit table.
2) The motor rotation
speed depends on
the selected print
speed.
