Function Description
The optical unit consists of the following components:
• Filter wheel with filters
• Step motor for filter wheel
• Light barrier filterwheel
• Tooth belt
• Halogen lamp
• Photodiode
• Lenses
• Step motor for peristaltic pump
• Cuvette connection pcb RR-103-V4

Replacement
The Photometer 5010 has to be opened. The top case has to be separated from the bottom case.
Remove the lamp shield. The lamp shield is fixed with two screws at the bottom case.
Loosen four screws A (see page 4.10.2).
Loosen one screw B near the step motor of filter wheel (see page 4.10.2).
Unplug the connectors:
• P4 Peltier element
• P5 Peristaltic pump
• P7 Cuvette connection pcb RR-103-V4
• P8 Photodiode
Installation
For installation proceed in reverse order.
