the second line of the LCD.

When you have finished entering the series
of characters, ensure that the cursor is
placed in the field after the last character in
the series, and press [A] (or the function
key you selected in step 4) again. The
series of characters is saved and assigned
to the selected function key.
For example:
The following series of characters should
be entered to program the macro
Fault Reset:
¾3#(customer code)#S#¾¾
NOTE:
When entering characters, ensure that the cursor is placed after the last
character. Otherwise, the last character you defined and everything after it will
be erased, and the Function key will not perform the required function.
