Chapter 5 Operating
2104.6536.72 - 5.42 - E-1
SFN Delay W Desired time of transmission in the SFN cannot be complied with.
Possible reasons:
– the maximum delay set at the MIP inserter is too small for the
(current) transmission link
– faulty reference signal (GPS)
Data rate W Wrong data rate on the active input
In the case of hierarchical coding, a warning is output if an incor-
rect data rate is present at one or both inputs.
MIP fail W No MIP at active input. Possible reasons:
– in the SFN: no MIP in input data stream
– in MFN: No MIP in input data stream and in the menu window
Exciter > DVB > TPS the setting TPS Source > MIP is
selected
In the case of hierarchical coding, the LED lights up if both inputs
(for the HP stream and LP stream) are affected.
Amplifier Ok All amplifiers are working properly
W Sum warning for amplifiers
F Sum fault for amplifiers
Sum Warning W One or more warnings are active
Reflection W Reflection at transmitter output in VSWR range from 1.5 to 1.35
F Reflection at transmitter output
- OFF - No reflection at transmitter output, VSWR < 1.2
Output Termi-
nated
Ok Exciter output terminated
F Exciter output open
Self Test Ok No hardware faults have been detected
F A hardware fault has occurred in one or more modules; for fur-
ther information on errors see logbook
Test signal W Transmitter has been switched to test mode
Loop Ok RF loop closed
- OFF - RF loop not closed
Reference Ok External reference frequency is present and OK
W External reference frequency is not OK
F External reference frequency is not OK and the Fail Delay Time
set in the Exciter > Reference > Common menu has expired
