2.1 R&S SX801 exciter

The R&S SX801 (1 HU) exciter contains the modulation and frequency processing, the
transmitter control unit and the remote control interfaces.
As the user interface in the compact transmitter, the R&S SX801 also features all the ele-
ments and interfaces for operating the transmitter.
User interface
The instrument is operated locally by means of a keypad and display. Important operating
states are also signaled by LEDs in the front panel. The integrated Ethernet interfaces also
allow the transmitter to be operated using a PC and web browser both locally and remotely
by means of access over the Internet.

2.2 R&S VH8001Cx base and extended amplifier
The amplifiers of the series R&S VH8001Cx are available as base and extended amplifiers
with 2 power classes each.
