1.3 Remote Operation and Remote Control
Remote operation and remote control take place via a web browser.
Note Depending on their rights, logged-on users can monitor the transmitter or control all of its
functions. In terms of this functionality, there is no difference between remote operation and
remote control.
The transmitter has by default the network connections needed for remote operation and
for remote control.
1.3.1 Installation and Configuration
Connecting a PC/network
For operation by local PC connect a PC by RJ45 cable to the X3 (Ethernet Local) port
on the R&S SX801.
