What are bidirectional printing and bidirectional adjustment?
This machine can perform "Bidirectional Printing," which means that the print heads print when moving in both direc-
tions. Bidirectional printing offers the advantage of being able to shorten output times, but subtle misalignment occurs
during the outbound and return passes. The operation to correct these misalignments is called "Bidirectional adjust-
ment."
MEMO
Bidirectional printing occurs when "Draft" is selected for the print quality in VersaWorks. For details on how to set the
printing quality, refer to [Output Settings]>[Setting the Printing Quality] in the [VersaWorks Help].
