Beverage settings - Coffee and coffee-milk specialities
Beverage settings - Coffee and coffee-milk specialities, using the Cappuccino tab as an example
1
Number of beverages that are counted per beverage selec-
tion.
An incorrect value leads to incorrect count values.
2
Quantity of brewing cycles per button press. You can use
this to dispense a small pot with one beverage selection.
3
Water volume (dispensed into the drip tray through the
cleaning valve) that heats up the system in order to maintain
a constant temperature. Recommendation: espresso-based
products: ±20 ml, coffee (>80 ml): ±10 ml.
4
Grind quantity
5
Setting of the coffee powder when preparing a double pro-
duct in one brewing cycle.
6
This parameter is only available if "Pre-infusion" has been
activated (see Point 19). Pre-infusion is normally only used
for espresso-based beverages.
7
If a pre-infusion dosage is set under Point 7, a waiting time
must be entered. This allows the ground coffee in the brew-
ing chamber to absorb the pre-infusion water.
Normal setting: 1 - 2 seconds.
8
This increases the volume of the brewing chamber shortly
before the brewing process. This allows the hot water to ow
more easily, and thus more quickly, through the ground cof-
fee in the brew unit.
9
Coffee water lling level.
10
A delay is usually used only for latte macchiato. Reason:
The milk needs to cool off in order to create higher surface
tension, which, in turn, allows better separation of the layers.
11
Milk/milk foam lling quantity
12
[ EXIT ] button.
13
Order in which the coffee and milk foam are dispensed. For
cappuccino, the milk foam is usually dispensed before the
coffee. When dispensing latte macchiato, the setting MUST
be "Milk foam before coffee".
14
MUST be selected, as otherwise the product and its product
button are disabled and the release is locked.
15
Activated = beverage dispensing can be stopped.
Deactivated = beverage dispensing cannot be stopped.
Press the button again to stop dispensing.
16
Activates access to the second product level with a double-
click (pressing a product button twice in quick succession)
instead of pressing and holding the product button.
17
Can only be selected if either Point 20 or 22 is activated. If
activated, the programmed product is always produced with
a double cycle.
18
If activated, the product is produced as a double product (ta-
king into account Points 6 & 30)
19
See Point 7.
20
Can be used in combination with "Pre-infusion". If enabled,
the coffee in the brewing chamber is tamped after pre-infu-
sion. This results in increased extraction time, as it is more
difcult for the brewing water to ow through the coffee.
21
If activated, coffee dispensing begins after milk/milk foam
dispensing has nished. The setting must be set for latte
macchiato.
22
The names dened in the „Product names“ auf Seite 24
can be selected here. Alternatively, pressing the button re-
sets the name to an empty eld..
23
By pressing the button, the correction factors or the settings
that have been made are reset to the default settings of the
product.
