Updating the machine software
Preparations
The following drivers and software must be installed to be able to perform a machine software
update.
● Service program V1.0 or newer (see „Service program installation“ auf Seite 10
● USB driver CDM2.06.00 or newer (see „USB driver installation“ auf Seite 10).
► Save the current machine software (*.hex) in the following directory:
C:\Program Files\Schaerer\CoffeeJoy\HexLoad\...
► Start HexLoad.exe.
► Press "Options" in the menu bar.
► Select "Communication".
► In the "Communication parameters" menu, select a baud rate of "38400".
► In the "Communication parameters" menu, select the same ComPort as in Chapter „Commu-
nication settings“ auf Seite 13
► Conrm with "OK" and close HexLoad.
► Before the update can be started, the following settings must be read out from the basic set-
tings of the coffee machine and noted down:
"Basic settings" menu:
● Language
● Degree of water hardness
● Water lter activated/deactivated
"System Information" menu:
● Manufacturer number (serial number)
