Combining Scene and Title Designs
Tape Recording mode
1 Insert the supplied SmartMedia card in
the camcorder.
2 Set the camcorder to Tape Recording
mode, and then press the MENU/
DISPLAY button until the menu screen
appears.
3 Turn the SET-PUSH dial (Q) to select
“COMPOSITE”, and then press the dial
(W) to display the composite picture
selection screen.
5 Press the B (Next Image Selection) or
C (Previous Image Selection) button to
move the selection frame to the desired
design.
• To display a thumbnail of the next (or
previous) 6 designs, move the selection
frame to design “6” (or “7”), and press
the B (or C) button.
4 Turn the SET-PUSH dial (Q) to select
“TITLE/SCENE”, and then press the dial
(W) to display a thumbnail of the scene
and title designs.

7 Press the REC START/STOP button at
the point where you want to begin
recording.
• The subject is recorded with the
composed design.
Card Recording mode
1 Perform step 1 above.
2 Set the camcorder to Card Recording
mode, and then press the MENU/
DISPLAY button until the menu screen
appears.
3 Perform steps 3 to 6 above.
4 Press the STILL button to capture the
subject with the composed design.
5 Press the REC START/STOP button to
begin recording.
To delete the composed design
Press the SET-PUSH dial.
6 Press the
(Set) button.
• The selected design is displayed in full-
screen.
