Combining Inset Still Images
Tape Recording mode
1 Insert the recorded SmartMedia card in
the camcorder.
2 Set the camcorder to Tape Recording
mode, and then press the MENU/
DISPLAY button until the menu screen
appears.
3 Turn the SET-PUSH dial (Q) to select
“COMPOSITE”, and then press the dial
(W) to display the composite picture
selection screen.
4 Turn the SET-PUSH dial (Q) to select
“P-IN-P”, and then press the dial (W) to
display a thumbnail of the images
recorded on the SmartMedia card.
5 Press the B (Next Image Selection) or
C (Previous Image Selection) button to
move the selection frame to the desired
image.
To display a thumbnail of the next (or
previous) 6 images, move the selection
frame to the image at the bottom right (or
top left), and press the B (or C)
button.
7 Press the REC START/STOP button at
the point where you want to begin
recording.
The subject is recorded with the inset still
image.
Card Recording mode
1 Perform step 1 above.
2 Set the camcorder to Card Recording
mode, and then press the MENU/
DISPLAY button until the menu screen
appears.
3 Perform steps 3 to 6 above.
4 Press the STILL button to capture the
subject with the inset still image.
5 Press the REC START/STOP button to
begin recording.
To delete the inset still image
Press the SET-PUSH dial.
6 Press the
(Set) button.
The selected still image is displayed
inside the inset window.
