OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS | TIC
2D LiDAR sensors with a blue background are yet to be assigned. In the example, these
are the four sensors of the TIC102 Slave and TIC102 Slave 2 system component.
3. Search for the component with the matching serial number and change its IP address.
To do this, click on the IP address. Make sure that the new IP address is unique. It must
not be the same as the default IP address (192.168.20.11 or 192.168.20.12).
The label for the Assign device button changes as a result of changing the IP address
in Prepare device.
The system suggests a new IP address for one or two LMS Width units and shows it in
bold print. If the serial number fits, you can take the suggestion or define an individual
IP address as described. Otherwise click on the device with the matching serial number
and change the IP address there.
4. Now click on Prepare device with the correct serial number and the changed IP address.
The button then reverts to Assign device.
