Reusing fiber-optic cable
Note
If you are reusing fiber
-optic cables, you must shorten both fiber-optic cores by the amount
of the curved lengths and reassemble the connectors. This will prevent any attenuation
l
osses caused by re-bent, heavily stressed portions of the fiber-optic cores.
